My favorite:
#32 Vogue (May 2004) Photographer Irving Penn captures Nicole Kidman’s back profile dressed in a Christian Lacroix oyster satin backless dress for this cover of the May 2004 issue of Vogue. This was the first cover shoot for Vogue by Penn since 1989. The issue contains more photographs of Kidman dressed as a Grecian goddess, an Italian diva and as legendary actress Sarah Bernhardt.

The first thing that comes to my mind with this cover is elogance. Everything about her is propper and the clothes that she's wearing are very formal. The background has two different shades. On the left it's real dark and it kind of blends in with her black glove and on the right side it's lighter so her back and the right side of her dress is brighter than everything else. A light may have been above her because her face is really lit up. Vogue is a fashion magazine and with this cover, it shows what it's about.
