My essay

i'm going to do a first person documentary about how everyday life is when you're vegan or vegeterian.

TYC essay

1. What type of photo essay is this?
I think it's in first person because the people there got to tell there story about how they got there and how they are handling it.

2. How many photos are included? Around 45

3. How long is it? 3 minutes and 5 seconds

4. What kind of impact does it have on you (main message) and how is this achieved? It's sad seeing these young people locked away for years. It goes into a place that most people have never seen and it shows how their everyday life is. It uses the ethos, pathos, and logos to achieve the message.

My 5 shots

Details- This one is detailed because it's showing the texture of the bricks on the wall, the smoothness of the drain, and the window is opened.

Lights- This has light coming in from all different angles. There are four windows at the top of the wall, there's a hanging light coming from the ceiling, and two big windows at the bottom.

Patterns- The tile on the floor and the railing on the stairs are repeating shapes.

Angles and Shapes- The corner of the builiding looks like it's stacked on top of one another. It was shot from low down so it makes it look bigger.

Surroundings- The trees are making an opening for the building in the distance. There are pathways and benches that are around it.
